20 ways to help TASK

1. Help serve a mid-day meal any day Monday thru Friday. Volunteer hours 10:15am - 1:00pm.
2. Help serve an evening meal Monday thru Thursday. Volunteer hours 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
3. Be a morning (9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) or afternoon (2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) tutor in literacy, math, computer skills or GED training in our Adult Education Program.
4. Volunteer for The Share Project, our new Performing Arts Outreach Program.
5. Bake desserts (cookies, cupcakes, brownies, etc.).
6. Wrap plastic utensils for TASK (on or off-site).
7. Volunteer between Dec. 15th and 31st to help with holiday gifts.
8. Prepare take-home lunch bags (peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, fruit, dessert, juice) to be given out at a meal.
9. Donate food or conduct a food drive (non-perishable foods, tuna or chicken salad with crackers, macaroni, canned beef or turkey gravy, or canned veggies). No glass please!
10. Donate personal hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, men's deodorant, shaving cream, razors, shampoo, combs, etc.). Regular sizes preferred, but hotel sizes accepted.
11. Donate one gallon recloseable plastic storage bags to hold the personal hygiene items.
12. Donate a working computer, 800MHz or faster, with Windows XP or 2000 (minimum) installed.
13. Donate socks (men's crew or tube socks).
14. Donate reading glasses in assorted strengths.
15. Make a planned gift to TASK through the Princeton Area Community Foundation.
16. Make a gift of real estate, life insurance or stocks.
17. Include TASK in your will.
18. Make an honorary or memorial gift.
19. Designate your United Way donation to TASK. Enter TASK's name on the campaign card or use the following codes for specific campaigns - NJ Employee Charitable Campaign #6557 and Combined Federal Campaign #66659.
20. Make a one-time contribution to our TASK Endowment Fund or to our on-going operations.
