TASK provides meals and services free of charge to its patrons with the help of countless volunteers and the generosity of people like you. In any given year, less than 3% of our annual income comes from government sources. This is because federal funding would require us to serve only those who meet certain criteria, and we prefer to provide unconditional service.
Almost all of our donations come from individuals. That is why you are so important to us. We would not be able to meet our yearly expenses without the generosity of each and every one of you.
Trenton Area Soup Kitchen is a 501(c)(3) private, nonprofit organization that has been feeding the hungry for more than 20 years. Your contribution is 100 percent tax-deductible. Our tax ID number is 22-2392881.
The Board of Directors of the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen has a strong commitment to donors' privacy rights. Consistent with that commitment, we hereby guarantee that we will not sell or trade donors' personal or contact information with anyone else, nor will we send mailings on behalf of other organizations to our donors.

When we receive your donation, we will send a handwritten gift card to the honoree, telling him/her that you’ve given us a donation in his/her honor. If you choose to make a donation in memory of someone, we will send a gift card to the honoree’s family. Make your donation by mail or online by credit card, and indicate the name and address of the person to receive the tribute card.
