Matching Gifts

Companies match employee generosity

Many companies direct their charitable giving programs through matching gifts.

When an employee notifies the company that he or she has made a charitable donation, the company makes a gift of the same amount--in some cases double the amount--to the same charitable organization. Matching gift programs are a wonderful way for employees to stretch their charitable dollars at no cost to themselves.

Simply ask your company’s human resource office, personnel department or community relations office if your company has a matching gift program. If so, ask for a matching gift form.
