Halloween 2006

TASK Halloween Party

On October 31st, nearly 60 Trenton school children attended the annual TASK Halloween Party. The dining room buzzed with activity as regular patrons ate their dinners while the kids partied.

The children were served first and then Bumble Bee volunteers -- teenagers Victoria Plummer, Dylan Zink, Annie Jordan, Nikki Kujawsji, Deanne Caricato and their adult leader, Leigh Zink -- painted the kids' faces and them decorate pumpkins.

Each child took home their decorated pumpkin, a treat bag, a stuffed animal or Beanie Baby, a popcorn hand and a lunch bag.

Also, everyone eating at the soup kitchen got a treat bag and a homemade cupcake decorated for Halloween. Any party leftovers were served at subsequent meals.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who provided pumpkins, treat bags, popcorn hands and cupcakes.
