School Supply Giveaway

TASK distributes school supplies to needy children

The annual TASK Back-to-School Supply Giveaway took place this year Friday afternoon, August 25th.

A line of ninety-four children happily paraded through the dining room at our Escher St. facility to receive supplies such as backpacks, binders, composition books, looseleaf, glue sticks, dictionaries, pens, pencils, etc. Forty-four additional children had also received these supplies earlier in the week as they were unable to attend on the 25th.

Our location at the South Trenton Soup Kitchen had an attendance of thirty-five children. Kids ranging in grades from kindergarten through high school were grateful to receive the generous donations.
