Coston Plays SCRABBLE for TASK

The Celebrity Charity Scrabble Tournament will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at noon at Gallery 125, 125 South Warren Street, Trenton (click for map).

The confirmed celebrities include

  • Congressman Rush Holt will be playing for Planned Parenthood
  • Trenton City Councilman Jim Coston will be playing for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen
  • WPST DJ Newman will be playing for the ALS Association
  • Molly Pitcher will be playing for public libraries
  • Trenton Mayor Doug Palmer and The Trentonian columnist Jeff Edelstein and more local celebrities will be there as well.

These celebs will be playing for almost over a thousand dollars for their charities. The primary sponsor for the event is the City of Trenton's Department of Recreation. Other sponsors include the Trenton Scrabble Club.

Come down for the opportunity to see these celebs in action and make a donation to the selected charities, a minimum $10 donation at the door.

If you want a game of Scrabble yourself, the Trenton Scrabble Club will set up Scrabble tables along the street and in local shops for your enjoyment.
