St. Patrick's Day Meal at TASK

On Wednesday, March 15, The Friendly Sons and Daughters of St. Patrick-Mercer County served lunch at the Soup Kitchen.

Patrons and staff were entertained by traditional Irish step-dancing while dining on corned beef, ham, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, salad, soda bread with butter and assorted desserts. Volunteers from Yardville National Bank also helped.

Earlier this month, TASK was selected as the Irish organization's Humanitarian Organzation of the Year and they presented Peter Wise with a check for $1,000 at a black tie dinner at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton. Also attending were TASK board members Marty Tuchman, Jennifer Zeigler, Tracey Destribats and Lee Seglem.
