Department of Human Services Commissioner Jennifer Velez visits Trenton Area Soup Kitchen

On October 8th , Department of Human Services Commissioner Jennifer Velez held a press conference from the TASK computer lab to inform TASK patrons about the state's social services web site, www.njhelps.org. NJHelps.org provides one-stop access to the array of services that can make a difference for individuals, their families and their communities during their greatest times of need. The website offers nearly 30 different services ranging from food stamps to workforce training. Commissioner Valez and her staff conducted a very helpful information session for TASK students.
