Pennington Quality Market Donation

For over 20 years, Pennington Quality Market (PQM) has supplied TASK daily with fresh produce, groceries, cakes and meats. In addition to this daily generosity, each year during Thanksgiving, PQM runs a Thanksgiving Turkey Drive where shoppers have the opportunity to donate a turkey to TASK. This year the spirit of the season brought TASK an abundance of turkey. Mike Rothwell, PQM store owner called Dennis Micai, TASK Executive Director, offering the option to translate the value of the turkey to other food staples and toiletry products. The result was a donation of one industrial palate of various food products and 20 boxes of hygiene products to be split between TASK and the Mercer Street Friends Food Bank. "We're happy to help," says Mike Rothwell, "This is a donation from Pennington Quality Market as well as our customers."
