Ernie White & Friends Christmas Concert Benefits TASK

For the third consecutive year, local rock legend Ernie White was joined by a host of area musicians to use their musical performances abilities to help the less fortunate patrons of the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK).This year, the 12th Annual Ernie White Christmas Show earned $14,000 and was held at Hamilton Manor, who donated the space for the concert.

Onstage, Ernie White was joined by Tom Reock, Joe Zook, Paul Plumeri, John Bushnell, Mark Sacco, Joey Kramer, Billy Hill, Jerry Monk, Joe Vadala, Duke Williams, Lisa Bouchelle, Ed Wilson, Jody Giambellucca, Joe Grillo and his horns, Honey Spot Boulevard, Sandy Zio, Michael White, TJ Nix, Charles Laurita, El Ka Bong, the Cretins, Gunsmoke, the Boomers, Kindred Spirit, Blind Lemon Pie, Reock and Roll Review, D D and the Divebomers, the Music Box Gang plus additional marvelous performers.All live in the Trenton area, or have strong ties to the local scene.

All the proceeds benefited TASK, a Trenton nonprofit that feeds the hungry and helps low-income individuals find a path to self-sufficiency.

TASK Executive Director Dennis Micai noted, “TASK is very grateful to Ernie White, Hamilton Manor, all the performers, and to everyone who pitched in to make this such a successful event.It was a wonderful evening and as always, a fantastic show. On behalf of our board, staff, and patrons, TASK would like to express our deepest gratitude for this support.”

TASK serves hot, nutritious lunches Monday through Friday and an evening meal Monday through Thursday, as well as dinner at satellite locations in South Trenton, West Trenton, and Hightstown, for a total of 3,500 meals per week.
