Homeless Person by Michelle Miller

Michelle is a student in TASK's Adult Education Program and she has been working especially hard on her writing skills. This excellent essay she wrote on February 29th earned her an A+ and she is eager to share it with the world:

"Homeless Person"

By Michelle Miller
2-29-2012

"I do not like it when I see a homeless person on the street. It gets me very upset when I see a homeless person. They are trying to make it the best way that they can. I know the feeling because I was homeless one time in my life with my daughter whose name is Nicole. It was so hard for me and Nicole. I went through a lot of stuff but I thank God for being there for me and Nicole.

I am in school trying to get my GED. My daughter is now in the army for sixteen years and she has given me two beautiful grandkids. My granddaughter is seven years old and my grandson is five years old. Just like I said, keep your head up and things will get much better. Smile"
