Princeton - Come out for a day of great bargains, good food, live music and fun at the UUCP Spring Sale, Saturday, May 8th from 9am-2pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton (50 Cherry Hill Road, at Route 206). Rain or Shine! Hunt for treasures in indoor booths: Toys, books, clothing, fine art, jewelry, antiques, furniture, electronics, collectibles, sporting goods, outdoor equipment, and home furnishings. Enjoy live music, while dining on barbeque fair, savory salads and gourmet desserts.
All Spring Sale proceeds go to local charitable organizations, who apply for UUCP Social Outreach Grants, awarded each spring. Recipients of 2010 UUCP Outreach Grants are: Coalition for Peace Action, Committee on Religious Ministries (Hospital Chaplaincy), Crisis Ministry, Enable, HiTOPS, Hyacinth Foundation, Isles, Meals on Wheels (Red Cross), Mercer Street Friends, Nat'l Assoc. for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) of Mercer County, People and Stories, Planned Parenthood, Princeton Community Village, Princeton Senior Resource Center, Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK),Trenton Environmental Education Field Trips, Womanspace, Your ReSource, and YWCA of Trenton.

Congregants at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton (50 Cherry Hill Road at Route 206) are busy preparing for their annual Spring Sale, to be held Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-2pm, rain or shine. Michelle Hunt (Ewing) and Heidi Hughes (Hamilton) are sorting and arranging clothing donations, while Amanda Gillum (Pennington) displays toys, games and stuffed animals. All proceeds go to local area charities. Great bargains, food, music & fun.
