Volunteer Luncheon Saturday, April 18th, 2009

This year's annual Volunteer Luncheon took place on Saturday, April 18th, 2009. Our volunteers are truly the backbone of our organization. Every year, over 2,500 individuals come to help sort items in our pantry; prepare and serve a meal; distribute donations of hygiene products, coats & socks to patrons; and tutor in our Adult Education Program, Performing Arts Program, and Computer Classes. The guest speaker for this year's luncheon was Wayne Meisel, President of the Corella & Bertram F. Bonner Foundation. Thank you to Wayne for the inspiring words. We would not be able to accomplish all that we do without the help of our dedicated volunteers. Please enjoy a slideshow of the photos taken at this year's luncheon.
