Trenton Mayor Sits with Local Nonprofits

In September, newly elected Trenton Mayor Eric Jackson attended Trenton’s Nonprofit Executives meeting to learn more about the work of local nonprofits and ways to best support local organizations and the residents they serve.

The guest list included Directors from TASK, Anchor House, Boys and Girls Club, Catholic Charities, Homefront, Isles, Mercer Street Friends, Mobil Meals of Trenton & Ewing, Mount Carmel Guild, The Rescue Mission of Trenton, Serv, UIH Family Partners, and United Progress of Trenton. “Trenton nonprofits are working to solve problems that affect many people who call Trenton home,” explains Dennis Micai, Task Executive Director. “We are grateful to be able to call Mayor Jackson and his staff at City Hall a partner. This meeting symbolizes a communication pipeline that has opened and will help us create stronger city together.”
