TASK has experienced a remarkable year

As we move closer to the holiday season it’s only natural that we remember and reflect on all the wonderful events that have happened throughout 2010.

• By year end, we will have served approximately 170,000 meals through our meal service program to the truly needy of the Trenton community.
  
  
• TASK’s Adult Education Program has grown to nearly a hundred students, 6 of whom have passed their GED, two are now taking college level courses, another two have entered job training programs.
  
  
• TASK’s performing arts group, The SHARE Project, entered the 2010 Shoprite Expressions of Hunger video contest and was named a Grand prize winner. Their group photo was printed on 150,000 boxes of cheerios distributed throughout September for National Hunger Awareness Month.

Our Annual Report for FY 2010 provides details on various services that we have provided to make clients’ lives a little more manageable. It also provides details on our expenses and funding sources.

Keeping the Bowl Full - TASK Endowment Campaign

A contribution to the Keeping the Bowl Full Endowment Fund is an investment in the future. It will ensure that TASK will be there to feed the hungry of our community for the years ahead.

TASK three-year Keeping the Bowl Full Endowment Campaign, headed by Mara Connolly Taft and Pete Taft, is currently in its silent phase. To date, almost $800,000 of the 2,000,000 campaign goal has been secured. To learn more about this important fundraising effort that will ensure that TASK will be there to feed the hungry of our community for the years ahead.
