Back to School Bonanza

From August 16th to August 20th TASK prepared back to school back packs for students of all ages. Over 350 Bags were donated to the kitchen along with hundreds of miscellaneous school supplies more than doubling TASK totals from last year. Bags were separated by the child’s grade; each bag contained a composition book, two spiral notebooks, with packages of pens and pencils. Students entering 6th grade or younger received makers, crayons, and other artistic supplies, while grades 7 through 12 received calculators, protractors and rulers. Thank you to the many individuals and the following companies and organizations who donated: ETS, Blackwell, Blackwell: Swerve Point LLC, Merrill Lynch, Covance, NJ Readers, Supplemental Food Programs, World Events Inc., NJ Com. of Higher Education, and Philadelphia Insurance Companies. The backpacks and supplies were greatly appreciated. A special thanks goes to Justiceworx volunteers for packing the bags and Ms. Rita and her team for distributing them.
