Serving Meals

At TASK, our primary mission is to provide meals to all those who are hungry. Everyone is welcome at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen. No questions are asked.

Every week of the year, volunteers help the TASK staff serve more than 4,800 meals in our primary facility at 72 ½ Escher Street and satellite locations in North Trenton, South Trenton, West Trenton, Hamilton, Hightstown, Princeton, and Yardville. All meals are prepared at the Escher Street site and delivered to the respective sites.

Escher Street Site: A mid-day meal is served Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Late trays are available at the side door from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

An evening meal is served Monday through Thursday, 3:30 to 4:50 p.m. Children receive breakfast bags in addition to a hot meal. Dinner is served Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. from Divine Mercy Parish at St. Stanislaus Church, located at 60 Randall Avenue. For more information, please call the parish administrative office at (609) 393-4826 or Frank Zelinski at (609) 216-2314.

West Trenton Site: Dinner is served Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral at 801 West State Street. For more information, please call the Rev. Christopher Cox at (609) 902-0427.

Hamilton Site: A mid-day meal is served Monday through Friday, noon to 1:00 p.m. at Medallion Care Behavioral Health, located at 1 Electronics Drive. For more information, please contact Amy Posner at (609) 586-0700 or medallioncare@yahoo.com.

Rescue Mission Day Center: TASK provides lunch Monday – Friday to the men and women who are homeless and utilizing the Day Center at the Rescue Mission of Trenton. www.rescuemissionoftrenton.org
