From volunteering at TASK to hosting food drives, donating birthday gifts (and even creating apps phones!), TASK’s young supporters have gone above and beyond to help improve the quality of life for hungry neighbours throughout our area.
While we welcome help from volunteers of all ages, the age requirement to volunteer on-site at TASK is 13 years old. Below are just a few ways how you can help TASK. And, don’t forget to schedule to take a tour when you deliver your donation – we’d love to show you how your help makes our community a better place.
While you don’t have to be an adult to make a difference… You do have to be at least 13 years old to volunteer on-site at TASK.
But don’t worry! There’s plenty of ways you can help TASK right from your home, school or place of worship.
Organize a food drive, help wrap utensils, make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches – find a way that’s right for you to make a big impact!
Teens for TASK was created by a local teenager in 2010 to create volunteer opportunities at TASK for middle and high school students in the Mercer/Bucks County area.
Teens who participate in the program meet at TASK throughout the year and act as student ambassadors and liaisons leading a variety of helpful drives and community initiatives.
