Hightstown Soup Kitchen Grand Opening is a Success!

The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) has partnered with Rise: a community service partnership and the First United Methodist Church of Hightstown to open TASK’s first satellite soup kitchen site outside the city of Trenton. The Hightstown soup kitchen served meals to 45 adults and 17 children on its opening day, November 3^rd 2011. Volunteers from Rise and the First Methodist Church greeted visitors and families with warm welcomes and live music.

The new Hightstown satellite site will serve meals each Thursday evening from 4:30 to 6:30pm at First Methodist Church of Hightstown located at 187 Stockton Street.Meal service is unconditional and all are welcome.
