Kids Eating

There is a place where people wake up hungry in the morning and go to bed hungry at night. These people are our neighbors. The place they live is called Trenton.

Running, Biking, and Swimming for TASK

The New Jersey State Triathlon is just a few short months away. In August, 3,000 triathletes will compete in a 30 + mile course that is just as intense as it sounds- 1500 meters of swimming, 25.5 miles of biking, and 6.2 miles of running.

While triathletes from across the country start to prepare for the upcoming event, two local athletes are already trying to break personal bests by raising $10,000 for The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK).

Daughter Father Duo, Casey and Pete Ort, have set a goal to raise $10,000 for TASK by the August 19th Race. The money will be used to purchase food for TASK’s Meal Service. To date the two have raised more than $8,000, but their work is not done yet. Let’s help them reach the $10,000 finish line by donating to TASK.  To donate, please visit Casey’s fundraising page at

Good Luck Casey! Good Luck Pete!
