Pond Road Middle School teachers volunteer at TASK

Pond Road Middle School

For the past two years, the teachers at Pond Road Middle School in Robbinsville, NJ, have been very supportive of the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen. A committee of teachers meet to plan the volunteer efforts and donations. Every month a group of teachers volunteer at the First Baptist Church South Trenton Soup Kitchen site to help serve meals.

Teachers generously donate used clothing and housewares for TASK clients in need. In addition, every Christmas and Easter, the teachers join together to make the holidays special for the children at TASK. This Christmas, they donated over one hundred brand new gifts for the children's Christmas party. They also donated candy, small toys, and stuffed animals to fill Easter pails for 50 TASK children. Pictured here are some of the teachers who worked together to fill the baskets for the children. Thank you very much! We truly appreciate all you do for us!
