1,000 Eggs Found at the TASK Spring Egg Hunt!
On April 22, 2011, one hundred and three Trenton kids had an awesome time at the TASK Spring Egg Hunt. The dining room was transformed into a play land for kids with face painting, arts and crafts, an assortment of children’s books for the kids to take home, and baskets filled with candy for every child. There were three eggs hunts set up by age and 1,000 eggs where hid. The Easter Bunny even made a special appearance! He joined in on the egg hunts and took pictures with all the children. Special thanks to the Princeton Meeting (Society of Friends), Students from TCNJ, Rider University, Bucks County Community College and members of the TASK staff for making this afternoon magical.

TASK Celebrates Volunteers
On March 12, TASK held its annual Volunteer Brunch, to honor and give back to all those who have helped and given our organization so much over the years.
The brunch was prepared by the TASK kitchen staff and entertainment was provided by The SHARE Project. Eighty-two volunteers attended the brunch.
This year, Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church was the recipient of the second annual Dr. Christian Hansen Volunteer Award. The award recognizes organizations that have had a longstanding relationship and have performed extraordinary service for TASK and its patrons.
Table floral arrangements were provided by Aztec Florist, Casablanca Florist, Designs by Linda, Dorothy Lee Florist, Fiori's Flowers and gifts, Original Flowers, Petal Pushers, Steele's Floral Shoppe, and Willis Florist. Lenore Bowne of Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church in New Hope, PA donated five handcrafted bird houses that were also used as centerpieces.
This year, instead of having a speaker, our volunteers heard original poetry and music performed by the SHARE Project. The last song performed was "Take Away", by Derrick "D9" Branch. Several attendees took the time to express their gratitude for being able to hear SHARE perform. To see a video of "Take Away", click this link.
Thank you so much to all who attended, donated gifts, and made this event as wonderful as it was. We greatly appreciate all the things you do for our organization.
