Help Make a World of Difference
Get Involved
Anything you contribute—be it time, goods, services, or funds—will help more than you can know and have a lasting impact on our patrons and the community.
Individuals or groups, small businesses or large corporations, schools or nonprofits—all can help turn hunger into hope. Below are some ideas for volunteering, partnering, and increasing the impact of charitable giving.
Volunteer
Become a volunteer and make a difference in the lives of people in our community.
Individual Volunteering
Volunteer to serve meals or work with our kitchen team to help cut, chop and prep food.
No prior experience needed.
Group Volunteering
Groups of 2-20 people can come volunteer together during meal service at TASK! Scouts, religious groups, athletic teams and more can come make a difference by serving as a team.
Corporate Volunteering
There are many ways that your company can get involved. Great for community service, team building and giving back.
Host a Donation Drive
Service Projects
Can’t make it to TASK to volunteer? Participate in a service project, fundraiser or donation drive!
Make meal bags. Donate and wrap utensils. Assemble first aid kits.
Make A Gift

How Companies Can Help
Be in good company.
Team Building
Work toward accomplishing your company’s philanthropic goals by putting together a team to volunteer on-site or off.
Workplace Giving
Hosting a donation drive for food or other items, coordinating a fundraiser to benefit TASK or simply promoting matching gifts and payroll deductions, gives your workplace a chance to make a difference to the people in our community.
Request a Speaker
TASK speakers can help your group or organization understand the challenges of battling hunger and how individuals, communities, businesses, and government can have an impact. To schedule a speaker, contact (609) 695-5456 x117 or fundraising@trentonsoupkitchen.org

Youth Volunteering
If you’re 13 or older, you can help with meal service and other projects at our Escher Street location when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents/guardians are not required to volunteer but must remain on-site with any minor child, please do not “drop and go.”
If you’re younger than 13 – or any age, you can still help by participating in a Service Project or Donation Drive. However you contribute, you’ll be positively influencing your community and improving lives.
Take a Tour
We’d love to show you how your help makes our community a better place! Take a tour after delivering a donation or gather a group and make a special trip. To schedule a tour, contact (609) 695-5456.
